We wanted to make a solar oven to cook a chocolate button on a cracker.

First we made a solar oven by getting a box and cutting a hole in the lid to make a flap, next we covered the inside of the box with tinfoil and placed black paper on the base because it attracts more heat, we also covered the lid with cling wrap to stop anything getting into it.

I learnt that you can melt a chocolate button onto a cracker in a solar powered oven using tin foil.

Today for Monday mashup . we made a sausage rolls we put pastry on to the tray we put the meet and then we put the meat on to the pastry and then we put cheese and tomato sauce and barbecue sauce and we put milk milk on it and then we folded it and then once it was cooked we got to eat some.  Do you like sausage rolls?

Last week we went to Living sprigs camp favourite activities climbing it was fun. And he helped us and take us you got to learn more . have you been there?

For navigating the Journey, I have been learning about, friendships, making decisions and puberty.

Good friends is being good to them. This means helping them when they are hurt, playing with them, being kind, not talking behind their back and being trustworthy. They will keep your secrets.

We learnt about making decisions and thinking about what would happen when we made the decision.

For puberty, I have learnt that you get hair on your body, girls get their period and might need tampons. You might get tireder and sweaty. You need to wear deodorant and shower more.

We are learning how to write sentences in Te reo Maori. My sentences.

Today We went to the stardome and I learned about the ice moon of the  planet Jupiter. It is called Europa. Europa is all icy and has more water then earth. I also learnt that Matariki has 1,380 stars in the cluster. most can not be seen with the naked eye. Moving Towards the Matariki Cluster
